Seven ways Workflow simplifies your lead tracking process:
- Workflow filters your lists to target specific leads. By giving unsold quoted leads a “re-quote” status, Workflow will recognize that these particular leads need to be contacted prior to the X-date of their current carrier.
- Workflow identifies when the X-date of a lead is approaching and acts at that time. You will never again have to go through lists and filter by X-date or schedule follow ups prior to that date. Workflow will do the work for you, giving you the peace of mind that every lead will be contacted.
- Workflow sends out automatic emails to the lead. When the X-date is approaching, Workflow will automatically send out an email, personalized with the lead’s name and your assigned LSP and agency’s information.
- Workflow automatically schedules appointments for your staff. The same day the automatic email is sent out, an appointment is automatically added to the assigned LSP’s schedule to follow up with a phone call.
- Workflow increments X-dates appropriately. If the sale wasn’t made this time, Workflow will add six months to the X-date so the process will continue until you receive their business.
- Workflow can be customized. This feature is not static. You can choose how Workflow operates based on the needs and strategies of your office. You can choose when these actions will occur, what the emails will say, and can decide not to use both emails and follow-ups. More than one Workflow can be configured to follow up with different leads in different situations. The options are limitless.

Drip marketing is a common tool used for nurturing leads and contacts. It automatically sends, or “drips”, pre-written emails to leads over time based on specific pre-determined criteria, such as the date the contact was added or the contract date. This tool is often used for reminders or for advertising purposes, to keep your lead educated on what your company can offer them. It eliminates a lot of time spent on keeping track and reaching out to leads. Drip Marketing is a powerful tool, but is static and cannot be customized.
Blitz Lead Manager has released a more advanced feature, Workflow, which does more than simply sending out emails. Below are the key differences between Workflow and Drip Marketing:
- Automatic scheduled follow ups: Some leads respond better to phone calls than emails, so Blitz will ensure you are doing both. If the lead is assigned to someone, Blitz will automatically add an appointment to that user’s schedule so they can call the lead right when the automatic email is sent out.
- Bumping up contract dates: Drip marketing is static. When a contract date is approaching, drip marketing will send emails to leads based on that date. Once the date passes, the emails will stop and the lead will fall off your radar. Blitz’s Workflow addresses this issue and will update the contract date to their next one, enabling the process to continue.
- Customization: Workflow is completely customizable based on your needs. You can choose which types of leads you would like to target. You can update all the emails that are sent out, decide when the emails should be sent out, and select whether or not you would like the scheduled follow-ups to be added to your user’s schedules. Do you receive leads from All Web Leads, and want those leads to come directly into Blitz? This can be done in two simple steps. The setup is a bit different if you use First Impressions or QuoteBurst Typhoon, so be sure to check that you are following the correct instructions.
- Configure All Web Leads within Blitz.
-Go to Administration –> Web Lead Setup. If you use First Impressions or Typhoon, click the Configure link to the right of those. If you do not, click the Configure link next to All Web Leads.
-Within the Configuration Options screen, click the Enable box next to the types of leads you are receiving. If you use First Impressions or Typhoon, “AllWebLeads” will appear before the lead types.
- Send IDs
-Find the API Id, Transaction Id, and API URL in My Profile. The IDs need to be from your primary administrator’s account. These are the Ids that will link All Web Leads directly to your account.
-If you do not use First Impressions or Typhoon, send your three Ids to All Web Leads in an email. Explain that you want to set up your Blitz account.
-If you use First Impressions, copy and paste your three Ids into the Blitz Integration settings within https://www.robo-agent.com/logon.aspx. Click here for detailed instructions and screen shots for setting up First Impressions.

If you have both Call Fire’s Cloud Call Center and Blitz Lead Manager, the accounts can be linked so that you can update leads in Blitz directly from Call Fire. This integration can be set up in 4 simple steps.
- Import the leads you are going to be calling into Blitz by going to Administration > Import Leads. Put the leads into a new campaign. (See BlitzTV)
- Export the leads out of Blitz. To do this, go to Leads > Lead List and select the campaign that you just created. Click the export to Excel icon.
The final column of the exported csv file will contain a link to the lead in Blitz.
- Import the new list into a Call Fire campaign.
- Make sure you have Blitz open in a separate window to enable to information to be transferred, and start dialing your leads using Call Fire’s user interface.

Once a lead is connected within Call Fire you will have a Link1 tab. This will display the lead’s Lead Log screen in Blitz. If you have both Sales Dialers and Blitz Lead Manager, the accounts can be linked so that leads you are contacting in Sales Dialers are being dropped directly into Blitz. If enabled, these leads can be assigned to users automatically in a round robin fashion and added to that users schedule for an immediate follow up. There are 3 simple steps to set up this integration:
- Enable the integration within Blitz. Within Administration –> Web Lead Setup, click on the Configure link next to Sales Dialers. In this screen, choose the types of leads you will be loading into Sales Dialers by clicking the Enable checkbox. Click Save Settings.
- Set up Auto Assign Groups (optional). If you would like leads to be automatically assigned and added to the assigned user’s schedule as they come in, you will want to set up an Auto Assign Group. This is done in the same Configuration Options screen from step #1. Simply choose an Auto Assign Group from the dropdown box and click Save Settings.
NOTE: Auto Assign Groups can be customized within Administration –> Auto Assign Groups
- Send Blitz IDs to Sales Dialers. Sales Dialers needs to know to send these leads to your Blitz account. In order to do this, find your API Id, Transaction Id, and API URL within My Profile. Copy and paste all three Ids into an email to Sales Dialers, letting them know you need to integrate your Blitz account.
Once you complete these three steps, you are ready to import a list into Sales Dialers and begin making calls. The notes you add in Sales Dialers will be added to Blitz in a history note. If you call the same person again, it will not add another lead, but simply update the one that was added originally.

Typhoon is a QuoteBurst software program that generates insurance quotes from web lead providers and telemarketers. Once the integration is enabled, quoted leads are dropped directly into Blitz Lead Manager with the quote attached to the lead’s history. An email is sent out to the lead, the lead is assigned to a user, and a follow-up appointment is automatically scheduled on the user’s calendar.
How to set up Typhoon:
- In Blitz, Under Administration –> Web Lead Setup, click configure to the right of QuoteBurst Typhoon. In the Configuration Options, click the enable checkbox next to the providers you use.
- Dropdown boxes will appear within the enabled rows. Make sure you select “Round Robin” for the Auto Assign Group—this will allow for leads to be automatically distributed between users in a round robin fashion. Auto Assign Groups can be customized under Administration –> Auto Assign Groups.
- Click on My Profile in Blitz, and find the API Id and Transaction Id. These will be required to set up Typhoon.
- At http://www.quoteburst.com/contact.html, send your three IDs via chat (pops up on the bottom right) or email (help@quoteburst.com). Just state that you want to configure your Blitz account.

- If you are new to QuoteBurst, send your QuoteBurst email address to your current web lead providers. This will let them know to send leads through Typhoon as opposed to directly to your email.
